In 2019, GoDaddy was in the middle of a major brand evolution—reconnecting with its customers by championing the Everyday Entrepreneur: bold, resourceful individuals turning their ideas into reality. These are the people who inspire everything we do.

That September, we launched a smart new product designed to guide users through the "I don’t know what to do next" phase of building an online presence. Using machine learning and real-world patterns, the tool delivered personalized action plans—helping people move forward, faster.

To launch it, we hosted an experience for our favorite people: our customers. They met our new CEO, got inspired by Ayesha Curry, and received hands-on support—from professional photography and copywriting to expert workshops and face-to-face time with GoDaddy Guides. It wasn’t just a product launch. It was a celebration of the people we’re building for.

Results:

  • 20% increase in traffic to godaddy.com

  • 30k viewers on our YouTube broadcast channel. 

  • More than 52 million earned media impressions.

  • 66M impressions on the YouTube Masthead,
    a new media initiative.

  • 3.5M viewing the live broadcast on YouTube.

  • 20M impressions in social media, with hundreds engaging in live chat during the event.

  • 800+ mentions and 54% net sentiment.
